for the autumn holidays!
Explore our interactive spaces, watch a film about “VOLCANOES”, take part in our “shadow and light” workshops and face up to some of our fun challenges! Our team will be running a workshop where you can learn how to tame shadow and light.
Enjoy a whole day of fun, and give us a scare by dressing up in your most terrifying costumes! So come along with family or friends any day during the autumn holidays, from 10am to 6pm. From 1 November, the CST will apply for all visitors aged 16 and over.
Exhibitions, monsters and thrills…
It’s not just for Halloween that the monsters have come out! In the SPARKOH! exhibitions, skeletons, cockroaches and strange creatures are coming out of the shadows! Who will you meet on the way? Do you dare to take a picture of yourself with monsters? Enjoy SPARKOH!’s 16 themed exhibitions.

A spectacular film to enjoy in the Palace of Images cinema
Set off on an expedition with extreme adventurers right in the heart of the volcanoes! From Indonesia to Pompeii, find out how volcanoes have shaped the Earth as we know it today through some spectacular images.
MOVING BODIES
Science is also about the senses, balance and movement! In the indoor acrobatic course or on the zip line, trampoline or swings in the outdoor playground, you can get moving and use up some of your energy while having fun. Fun areas for everyone.

Enjoy the natural world in the Biodiversity Garden or explore the area with a walk over the slag heap or on the RAVeL network…
Autumn is the season that’s all about colour!
Walk round the Biodiversity Garden, lie down on the hammock overlooking the pond, climb to the top of the observatory to marvel at some autumnal biodiversity or go for a walk on the slag heap, Mont Ostène, and take in the amazing view of the surrounding area.
Light, science and mystery…
Ready to start Halloween? Possess a ghost in the Pixel Factory, haunt a house with video mapping or immortalise your best facial expressions in the chemistry photo lab. And for the little ones? Optical illusions, a “light” investigation and shadow play for the whole family! Activities subject to availability – to be booked on the day of your visit – 1 activity per family.

Do I need a COVID SAFE TICKET (CST) to come to SPARKOH!?
From 07/03/2022, the Covid Safe ticket (CST) is no longer required for access to SPARKOH! for individuals, events and groups.
Do we still have to wear a mask?
From 07/03/22, wearing a mask is no longer mandatory at SPARKOH!
Health measures
SPARKOH! is following the latest health news on a daily basis so that it can adapt the way it works, its different areas and how activities available for visitors are managed. A number of measures have been put in place to make sure visitors are safe.
The Covid Safe Ticket (CST) will be coming into force in Wallonia on 1 November. This will be required for visitors over 16 years of age who want to come to SPARKOH! Masks will therefore no longer have to be worn.
Visitors between the ages of 12 and 15, who are not subject to this obligation, must continue to wear masks and follow the other protective measures.
Tickets that have already been purchased are non-refundable.
